I’m Dani – a 2D and 3D animator and TOTAL, unapologetic nerd.
I’ve worked for household names like Aardman, Star Wars, Nike, Apple TV, Amazon Prime, Sesame Street, Channel 4 and Grand Theft Auto, as well as smaller businesses and organisations you might never have heard of, but who are nonetheless doing incredible work.
This won’t surprise you to hear, but I honestly think animation is such an incredible way to get your message across (would be wild if I didn’t, wouldn’t it?) It’s all about communication via character and nuance, where the subtlest movements can make the biggest difference. Two decades in, and it still feels like magic to me.
In technical terms, my weapons of choice are Moho, Harmony, TV Paint, After Effects, Maya and 3DS Max, and I offer drawing, rigging, animation, compositing and editing.
Whether this is your first ever time commissioning animation, or you’re old hat at it by now, my approach will always be the same: full support and movie-quality animation.
But if that’s just a bunch of word salad to you, don’t worry; part of my job is to help you feel confident and comfortable with what’s happening in your project at every step.
What it essentially means is that I’m a one-woman studio who can take you through the whole process from concept to completion.
AND that I can do it in a huge number of softwares, meaning I have the skills for whatever suits your project best.
What's she bloody up to now?
When I’m not at my desk bringing your project to life via animation, you can usually find me out on the water. Whitewater kayaking, paddleboarding, cold dipping, or just floating in water looking up at the clouds – if it’s wet, I’m probably there.
I love it so much that I’m also a Paddlesports Instructor, and I’m literally always trying to work out how to combine these two loves of my life.
